Statewide $225 Tax Credit

As of January 1st, 2026 - every Colorado resident will receive a $225 in store credit towards the in store purchase of any electric bicycle.

e-bike of Colorado is offering a $225 in store credit

This will be applied as a pre-tax discount of $225. The Colorado resident must test ride at least 3 different brands before receiving the additional $225 discount.

All credits and discounts apply to every Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 electric bicycle.

The $225 Colorado State tax credit is renewed every calendar year and will be applicable in Colorado until 2033.

The Full $450 Colorado resident eBike discount available at time of purchase on most e-bikes includes $225 CO state tax credit + $225 e-bike of Colorado rebate issued after 3 test rides of different ebike brands. $225 CO state credit is available to every Colorado Resident once per calendar year. The $225 e-bike of Colorado rebate is available to Colorado residents once during promotional period and is only valid for ebikes professionally assembled by e-bike of Colorado (does not apply to unassembled bikes purchased in a box). Tax calculated on sale price before $225 Colorado tax credit is applied. Please contact our store for more information.

Below are the following steps required to redeem and use your rebate in store.

Steps to use your rebate in store -

1) Ensure you have the correct documents

Utilizing the Colorado State Rebate requires have the following information:

  • Proof of Colorado residency (Can be a Colorado Driver License)
  • State Issued ID

2) Find your perfect e-bike

3) Fill out a DR-0514 Affidavit

4) Provide our salesteam with all appropriate idenification

We will ask for adequate idenification, usually a US issued ID, and to record the physical affidavit form for our records.

5) Receive your rebate during your e-bike purchase

After all the required documents have been filed out and recorded idenification has been matched, our salesteam will discount your e-bike sale by up to $450 off the total price of the sale.
